Mari has been doing Hula now for 15 yrs. She’s a former Miss Japan Kimono and earned her Alakai Hula Instructor Certification in 2004. Mari also has her own hula halau (school) in Japan, Papa Hula O Ko‘onani I Ka Lani, with 10 locations in Japan and is currently pursuing Uniki (the ceremony to get a kumu certificate). Mari also dances at numerous venues such as: Sheraton Waikiki, Atlantis Dinner Cruise, and Ko’Olina Resorts.
