Polynesian Show (Complimentary)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Hours: 7:00pm - 9:00om Location: 1st and 3rd floors ... It's showtime at the Waikiki Shopping Plaza! Poly Pride Productions bring you free daily performances highlighting the many dances and instruments of Polynesian culture. From the "haka" of New Zealand, to the "auana" of Hawaii, and all the islands in between, get ready for a rhythmic journey through the Pacific Islands.

Hawaiian Quilting Lesson

Instructor: Harumi

Inspired by the elegance of the traditional Hawaii quilt, Harumi's been practicing the art for 25 years. A time-consuming process, Hawaiian quilts takes month to finish. Which makes Harumi's accomplishment of over 100 quilts to-date more impressive. She continues to practice the art because of it's beauty and because it "relaxes" her.

Hula Lesson

Instructor: Mari

Mari has been doing hula now for 15 years. She's a former Miss Japan Kimono and earned her Alakai Hula Instructor Certificate in 2004. Mari also has her own hula halau ( school ) in Japan, Papa Hula O Ho'onani I Ka Lani, with 10 locations in Japan and is currently pursuing Uniki ( the ceremony to get a kumu certificate ). Mari also dances at numerous venues such as: Sheraton Waikiki, Atlantis Dinner, Cruise, and Ko'Olina Resorts.
