Inspired by the elegance of the traditional Hawaii quilt, Harumi’s been practicing the art for 25 years. A time-consuming process, Hawaiian quilts takes month to finish. Which makes Harumi’s accomplishment of over 100 quilts to-date more impressive. She continues to practice the art because of it’s beauty and because it “relaxes” her.
